In our Gi classes, students wear the traditional Jiu Jitsu uniform (called a Gi), which allows them to learn and apply a wide range of grips and techniques. Training in the Gi helps develop strong fundamentals, improve their control, and understand how to use an opponent’s clothing to their advantage. Gi training also builds discipline, patience, and attention to detail, which are essential both on and off the mats.
Our No Gi classes focus on Jiu Jitsu techniques without the traditional uniform. Students typically wear a rash guard and shorts, and learn to rely more on body control, movement, and speed instead of grips on clothing. No Gi training helps develop agility, quick transitions, and adaptability, making it a great complement to Gi classes. It also prepares students for different types of competitions and real-life self-defence situations.
